Happy Mother's Day weekend, KC fans! I sincerely hope and pray that Kelly enjoys the May 11th holiday with her loving mom Jeanne. The Jewish proverb states: "God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers." "Entertainment Weekly" magazine compares Kelly Clarkson to legendary actress Meryl Streep in the TV article "Idol Judged" (pg. 57). A huge compliment! It reads: "Conversely, more challenging, inventively themed hours might yield some surprises -- after all, Kelly Clarkson, the Meryl Streep of Idol, broke through on Big Band Night, and Fantasia..."

By the way, "The Daily 10" co-host Catt Sadler attended Wednesday's "American Idol" results show. Cat sat next to a hunky blond-haired dude. The E! reporter wore a green dress on last night's episode.

P.S. I saw Sen. Barack Obama's interview yesterday on CNN's "The Situation Room" with Wolf Blitzer. I loved the moment when Barack Obama paid tribute to his late mother and wife Michelle on Mother's Day. It's only a matter of time until Sen. Obama wins the Democratic presidential nomination. Sen. Hillary Clinton's super-delegate total would have to override the will of the American voters (the popular vote and pledge delegate count) in order to win the party's nomination. Right now, the numbers aren't in her favor. Hillary needs a miracle to win.
