Earlier this morning, I read on www.kckellyville.com's main page that www.kellyclarkson.com is offering a special fan club membership for $19.99. Only for the month of May! Unfortunately, I don't have any significant Kelly Clarkson news to report today. It's been a slow news week. Please forgive me, KC fans. BTW: Congratulations to singer Mariah Carey and actor Nick Cannon! According to "E! News," the couple secretly tied the knot in the Bahamas. This is Carey's second marriage. Luckily, Miss Clarkson is still a single woman (based on her interviews). I haven't missed my chance.

On a personal note: My nephew, RJ, celebrates his 9th birthday on May 3rd. Time sure flies when you're young! I still remember holding RJ (as a little baby) at the hospital. Sadly, my older sister and her husband didn't select me as godparent. It's a long story. Life isn't always fair.
