As a film fanatic, I want to recommend these "timeless" romantic dramas to the benevolent and beautiful Kelly Clarkson (all three love stories are now available on DVD):
1.) "The Love Letter" -- The 1998 Hallmark Hall of Fame made for television movie. (rated PG)
2.) "The Lake House" (rated PG)
3.) "Forever Young" (rated PG)
For the record: I watched the "American Idol" results show last night. My favorite A.I. moment: When the female caller (from Pittsburgh) asked David Cook out on a date. A.I. host Ryan Seacrest promised to "make that happen." I wonder if Ryan could play matchmaker and "set me up" with Kelly Clarkson? I would be eternally grateful to him. The dude earns his $12 million dollar income (working five jobs a year). I respect that. By the way, A.I. voters selected wisely and voted off Jason Castro (as I predicted yesterday). He wasn't improving. Syesha Mercado, David Cook, and David Archuleta (the season seven front-runner) remain in the top three. Good for them!
On Wednesday's episode of "The Daily 10," co-host Catt Sadler interviewed "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" star Ben Barnes. In fact, Catt flirted with the British actor and played pool with him. Catt seems like a cool E! reporter!
Thanks for reading my May 8th blog. Have a thankful Thursday, KC fans! Until Friday. Peace.
