BREAKAWAY ONE OF 100 BEST ALBUMS OF THE LAST 25 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Breakaway is included in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly as the 29th BEST album of the last 25 years! This is an awesome accomplishment! Well done Kelly! Considering all the albums that has been released since 1983, this is AWESOME!
29 Breakaway Kelly Clarkson (2004) No one expected the original American Idol's second album to be so... huge. A powerhouse vocalist with an unabashed love for Big Moments, she nails them here, especially on the inescapable rocker "Since U Been Gone."

The album deserves all of the praise it receives. And yes, while I like My December, you can't deny that Breakaway is not only more mainstream but it is consistent with its quality. My December has its ups and downs with the songs on the album, there are a few songs that are just kinda inconsistent. One Minute was good the first few times I heard it, but then it got really annoying to listen to tbh... and Yeah was just not that great. With Breakaway however, they could have put just about any of those tracks out as a single and they'd have been successful.

but also believable.. that CD is also amazing, and so easy to relate to and just fun to sing to!

Yeah i like my december better too. But its great that she got a mention. This just shows that people no longer consider just as an american idol but as a real artist. And just to add, she is the only american idol contestant to make the list.

WOOHOO!! thats geart she deffo deserves it!!!! I loved Breakaway but i kinda liked MD better because it was more personal and altough it didnt sell as many copies i think that her REAL fans liked it more because it was very intimite and it was ALL kelly!!! I cant wait for the new album!!!
