I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...everyone knew Kelly was good. It was obvious the day she tried out for American Idol. I had her Breakaway CD forever and loved the music but becoming a huge fan really didn't happen until the summer of 2007. I was sitting in my hotel room getting ready for bed after a softball tournament and AI Rewind came on. Kelly was singing A Moment Like This, and it just memorized me. I just sat there staring at the TV screen for 10 minutes wanting more. Kelly's voice isn't the only reason, its her spunk, and personality. I just keep learning more about Kelly and her music, and I just keep getting more impressed. The fact that she came from practicaly nothing is a clue. Some ppl could sit and sulk, oh my life sucks, but she didn't do that. I'm sure there were times she felt horrible, but she was strong and worked hard to get out of it. She's so cool too. Shes funny, doesn't really care what ppl think, I'm sure she does but she doesn't let it effect what she wants to do. & she is just such a great role model. Shes beautiful, der. I went to my first concert in Kansas City, February 2008. Just the way she presents herself is amazing. All of her financial desisions and just the fact that she tries not to be perfect. That's what makes her perfect to some ppl, being normal and you can't help but love her! Ppl would love her no matter what, but singing and her lyrics are just part of what makes her, her. But the one thing that makes me be a huge fan is not only her voice and personality. But anytime you here her sing, no matter what song she sings, you can tell she puts her whole heart into it. I one day want ppl to say something nice like this about me and hopefuly I can have half the career that she has! Rock on Kelly!
