I'm doing a review on Kelly Clarkson's second single, "Sober".
She released this song six weeks after "Never Again", and I think it's one of the best songs that she's written. It sounds very similar to Sarah McLachlan.
"Three months and I'm still sober".
She sings "three months" thirteen times in the song (album version) and it's sung like a prayer.
The song is about getting over an addiction, something you want that you can't have. It's not about drinking or alcohol.... "Sober" is a metaphor.
