Shodelado Everyone!
I have recently been in Ireland for vaccation (during one week), which was unbelievably AMAZING! And I am boundlessly fascinated by the outstanding irish music culture and the magnificent country sceneries! I travelled around both Dublin (LOVELY capital!
, West Port, Clifden, Doolin & Dingle. I actually get a lot of time to visit some fascinable national parks, nature reserves, small town idylls and some terrific, picturesque PUBS!
Anyway... let's jump straight to the main topic, which is Kelly's brand New, loveable, inspiring, amazing and MIRACULOUS album "My December"...
I bought the following album, at the 27th of june, in Dublin (Ireland)... Personally, I think ALL the album tracks is totally GORGEOUS, touching and incredibly amazing! I am enormously impressed by Kelly, because it seems like she has battled so hard be able to reach out to the world with this material, which is really exclusive, intense, soulful, intimate and personal. That must have been really significant for the lovely miss Kelly!
In addition, Kelly has written EVERY single tune and lyric on her own, adapted to her emotions, reflection and maybe even some fantasy torrents or streams-of-consciosness!
But I can understand what Kelly means when she says that this record is just as personal as her two previous CDs (Breakaway, Thankful), apart from a more raw and intimate sound and a bigger space to get through a lot of new experiences, so she successively could put some new inspirations into songs. The impending sound of the album might be quite dark, gloomy and sombre. But I am certain about that a lot of dignity and high standard material comes through really troublesome phases and chaptures in life. Generally, I do ALWAYS enjoy every single minute I'm able to hear Kelly belting out her langerous and extensive voice! Behind some negativity, this includes definitely a lot of positiveness, about surviving things you never thought you would.
So HERE is my oppinion about every song on the MD record...
1. Never Again - This tune is INCREDIBLY captivating, explosive and quite addictive, indeed! The song is really gloomy, catchy, intense and straight-in-your-face. A pure smashhit!
2. One Minute - This song is really phenomenal and SUPREME! It's quite easy to identify with the lyrics which tells some things about the insanity of life! I look forward to hear this song (uninterruptedly) as a smashhit on a lot of clubs and dance floors!
3. Hole - This may be the most hard-rocking, groovy, intensive track on that Kelly has ever done. The song includes a lot of authenticity and roughness so I can directly be captivated!
GLORIOUS!
4. Sober - This might be one of the best, the most languorous and the most touching song on this album! Kelly makes a GREAT vocal exercise from some pretty deep and gloomy parts to a higher octave. The songs serves a lot of goose bumps and chills!
SUPERB! =)
5. Don't Waste Your Time - This may probably be Kelly's most radio friendly songs, but this is also straight emotions behind a (certainly) true autobiographical story. A quite catchy and really delightful track!
6. Judas - This is a very revealing, uncover and deep emotional song. With other words, a great narrative about betrayal and lost trust! This song is really feisty and FABULOUS!
7. Haunted - This is another melancholy song with a gloomy song lyric, about a highschool friend to Kelly who committed suicide. Incredibly touching, delightful and heart-melting!
LOBEABLE!
8. Be Still - This song is definitely RELAXING and immoderately melting, langourous and magnificent! Kelly has put an extreme depth and presence at this soulful song. This is ADMIRABLE!
9. Maybe - One of the most languishing songs Kelly has ever sing, so it's really understandable why this is one of Kelly's favorite tracks! The song includes both hopfulness, melancholy and a lot of autencity! SOO MAGNIFICENT!
10. How I Feel - This track is blunt, at-the-topic and strongly captivating! Although all the sadness and desillusion that might be put up behind this song - it is definitely a GREAT feel good song!
11. Yeah - This is a excellent, catchy and intimate feel-good-summer-song with some pleasant Texas-grooves. Veritably Wonderful! =)
12. Can I Have A Kiss - This is a purely intimate, affectionate and passionated track that's definitely worth to ENJOY!
13. Irvine - This was writting during one of Kelly's absolutely saddest point in life, so this ballad must be really meaningful and inspiring for her. We can interpret the lyrics in plenty of ways. It can both be about some kind of miraculous guardian angel or hero... Kelly is definitely one of them!
The song is really genuine and touching, I think.
14. Chivas (Hidden Track) - This track tells about a great desillusion or disappointment about a further sour relationship. It seems actually that Kelly has drunk some Chivas before she sang this song, just to create an intimate atmosphere!
Generally, I absolutely LOVE and worship all of Kelly's CDs, tunes and her Oh-so-lovely way to be! But this must be one of the greatest album ever, with a pure genuine touch of Kelly's emotional rollercoasterI ADMIRE KELLY BRIANNE INCREDIBLY MUCH, AND I WILL ALWAYS DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In addition: I already look forward to Kelly's next coming projekt: A country/blues inspired and versitale album. But I have to let Kelly take ALL the time she'll ever need to tour, relaxe, enjoy life and assemble some new inspiration. She deserves everyones utmost RESPECT!!!
LOVE KELLBELL A LOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
