I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
Kelly Clarkson is the only artist I have ever heard who is capable of delivering a heavy and aggressive message yet maintaining poise and smoothness in her voice. I loved her since I heard Her "Breakaway" album, right after my dad's death in November 2005. I related to so many tracks in that album and I can safely say that it was the best cash I have spent to date. Being black and a community that hardly recognizes Pop and Rock music, I struggled to get everybody into but I can assure everybody that even mom now sings along to the songs, especially "Beautiful Disaster"
