I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
ever since I heard Kelly hit that high note on her AI performance of Natural Woman I couldn't stop listening. She had this amazing sound and was so down to earth at the same time. It was refreshing. When she released Breakaway, I knew she was truly an artist. My parents never split, but never before have I related completely to the lyrics of a song then I did hearing Because Of You. To this day it will always bring tears to my eyes. The fact that she can sing lyrics that are so strong with a beautiful equally strong voice to back it up is a gift. She has heart and I am always a fan of true vocalists and she is definitely that. She is gracious and a very classy person.
