extended version pt 2 (haha i'm such a dork, and so are my friends. read this)

so we are at the eaton's centre (i don't know how to spell it! anyway its a giant mall!) cause we were really early and it was like almost 3:00 and we didn't have to meet the team until 5:00 sooooo we "shopped" but not really haha. so there was this guy that looked like santa! i swear his glasses were perfect and his hair and beard were also perfect! he could have been santa! i swear! haha annnnnnyway my friend rayna's like "how funny would it be if i sat on his lap and asked for a pony for christmas?" and i was like i would piss myself laughing! and she's like i'll actually do it if someone records it! so my friend robyn got out her camera but she was too afraid to film it, so i did. i felt SO bad! but it was frigging hilarious! she went up to him and asked him for a pony for chirstmas, WHILE sitting on his lap! haha it was so funny! he just like jumped a little cause he was so shocked! like i would be too! haha i don't know what i'd do if some girl i've never seen before came and sat on my lap! haha so yeah he said he'd pose for a picture cause he saw the camera and i was like oooh no its a video! haha so he put on this act and he was like "have you been a good girl?" and went on an stuff, meanwhile steph and robyn are like 10 feet away pissing themselves laughing! anyway it made my day! (being that i was running on 4 hours of sleep from a party at my friends the night before! haha). so after that we ate lunch, then it was about 4:00 but torontos busy, so we wanted to leave at like 10 after to make sure we met our team on time.. STEPH! AHHHH. we get to the car and like she didn't mean to, but SHE LOCKED THE KEYS IN THE CAR! so we were completely screwed! haha and steph and robyn are rookies on the team so they didn't have any numbers of our team on their phones (except for like two, but they were no help!) haha and rayna and i both didn't have our phones cause they were deactivated.. (how unfortunate eh? .. and ghetto! haha), cause like seriously i have half our teams numbers on my phone, plus coaches, so we could've had a ride, but my phone was like 2 hours away in my house. haha so stephs mother calls the insurance company and they came surprisingly fast! (it was like 4:35 when they got there). they got the car open so we could get the keys, but they didn't take debit, so steph and i needed to run through this gigantic mall searching for an ATM (by the way at this time we were in matching teal shorts and not fitting gray shirts! haha anyway we take an elevator to the top level of the mall and ask this stupid guy in a watch store where the nearest ATM is, and he said its on the bottom floor, and we were like yeah but where? and he points to the stairs and is like "the stairs are right there" and we're like NO KIDDING.. WHERES THE ATM MACHINE? and he looked at us like we had two heads on our shoulders! haha so i was like NEVER MIND! so i grabbed steph and we ran to the bottom floor! then steph cuts to the front of a really long line at starbucks and is like WHERES THE ATM!? and the lady is like "BEHIND THE SIGN!" so we turn around and theres like 20 signs! (if you've seen the movie mean girls, they filmed the scene where they are at the mall by the water fountain here.. i wonder if you can see the atm? haha) so we're looking all over, and then like 10 feet away from the water fountain i saw an ATM i was like YEAAAAAAAAAH! so we were sprinting and dodging people all the way to the atm and all the way back up to the parking lot! (remember we're wearing the same outfit.. with teal shorts! haha) anyway we finally got out of there and met the team like 2 minutes late! haha it was so funny though!

BUMP!! wow its been a YEAR already! haha i just got back from performing in front of like 40,000 people for the 2ND TIME! haha it was so much fun! i have a story, i'll do two versions, shot & extended version (the extended ones kinda funny! but you have to read the short one as well!)

short: we went to toronto and again we did that halftime show at the toronto argonauts game (CFL) but this year we had 3 teams from our cheer club, and it was soooo much fun! i seriously LOVE the feeling of being in front of all those people! i can't even explain it! its just amazing! I SOOO WANT KELLYS JOB! haha anyway thats the short version!

extended pt 1 (kelly related) : so my friends and i were meeting at the cheerleading club so we could carpool and the person driving us (steph), texts my friend saying she's running 10 minutes late. so at the cheerleading club the tumbling coach (tumbling as in flips) had all of the kids she coached in the gym having a giant pajama party! so we joined (without pjs obviously! hah) until steph picked us up! anyway then we went to toronto and watched transformers on the way there! haha and other than that, basically the conversation in the car was kelly clarkson. (haha oh how i love my friends for putting up with me! haha). k so were basically there and were on one of the highways where you can see the CN tower (the big tall building!) haha and it was the same road kelly took to get to canadian idol when she coached the top 5.. i know cause i saw their road trip video on youtube! haha anyway we got there early and we drove by the ex..or CNE, or canadian national exhibition! which is what kelly went to after she performed on canadian idol (i saw her there btw) and i thought that was cool (theres videos on youtube of this.. then one where shes on her first ferris wheel ride, and then shes on this other ride and the guy pukes! haha) and then after that the ONLY reason i knew exactly where we were the whole time is cause i'm going: "kellys been there, kelly's been there, KELLY TOUCHED MY HAND THERE!" haha cause we drove past much music (aka where kelly "sold powdered milk" haha and did the acting out songs thing and totally kicked mat babel's ass at it! (i think it was mat babel.. haha)) and then we drove by the ex (which i said) and we drove by massey hall, which is where i saw her in concert for the second time, but it was actually the third time i've seen her live! and then my friends are like "HOW DID YOU TOUCH HER HAND!?" and i was like "i moshed." haha and then they made fun of me for it.. and they were saying "OMG I TOUCHED YOUR HAND TOO! wait what had was it?" and i was i like i dunno, but i can find out for you! i took a picture of it immediately after and its on facebook! haha so yeah thats my kelly stuff.. WAIT NO! then the song express yourself was on in a store on queen street (the street much music is on) and i was like WHOA KELLY MANIA! haha okay i think thats it for part one!

kelly coreographed her highschool cheerleading teams routine. and as of this year, i've been cheerleading for 3 years, but before that i've done gymnastics for about 6 years.

thanks!!!! yeah well we compete about 10 times a year.. lol but for worlds we came 2nd! the U.S. won. (we were representing canada) but out of i think 100 points (or maybe 500 points.. i'm not sure.. its different all over the place), but anyway we were only off 1st place by 1.1 points! so we were really happy with that! (and it kinda made me feel like kelly! metaphorically i guess.. she came 1st on american idol [duh] and we won nationals (aka 1st in canada), and she came 2nd on world idol, and we came second at worlds! lol) and yeah we do make mistakes in competition (at worlds we didn't though), but things can happen.. haha

Okay, I just saw the video...and the part where you fell...I actually didn't notice it until you pointed it out...and don't worry, I still think it's awesome that you can do one of those round-off things...I've always wanted to do one of those....how do you jump that high?!?! I just don't get it. I'd be afraid...

And yeah, luckily it was just pracitice...did you make any mistakes in the real competition...? I'd be so afraid of letting my team down!! But I know it has to happen and it happens...and someone has to make the mistake....

Anyways, yall are GOOD!!! You guys totally rocked...I love seeing teamwork pay off like that...I know it was a lot of hard work and that it had to have taken you guys a while to get the routine down...but you know what, you guys did it by working together and the performance turned out very well!! That's awesome!! Congrats....

And I agree...although I'm not a cheerleader and would never consider it...cheerleading isn't preppy, unless you make it preppy....it's just another sport....

LMAO okay thanks! umm i'll try and explain where i am to the best i can.. haha okay first of all terms! tumbing is running, and then flipping! a stunt is when there are a bunch of groups lifting people up, but the people in the air aren't touching each other. a pyramid is when people get lifted up and the people in the air hold on to each other! and i think thats all i need to explain for this! okay now explaining where i am in the video let me see! (oh and when i say left and right i am talking about from the cameras perspective)

THE VERY FIRST THING WE DO! we "tumble" towards the camera.. lol i am the first person on the left.. and i fall.. well i land first, then i fall! haha

THEN when since u been gone is in the music (LISTEN! ITS IN THERE!).. its right at the beginning too, i "tumble" in the front, from the left side to the right side! then i disappear until after the "stunt"! (i'm in the right corner.. i'm not up in the air this time! but i am later in the routine! at this part i am lifting people! lol)

after the first stunt, there are two people "tumbling" from each corner, i am the second person from the right corner! after that people tumble forward and right after them i tumble again from the back left corner to the front right corner! (theres 2 of us, i have the teal shorts on) then there is some more tumbling for a while... i'm not in that! i'm running behind! (haha doubt you'll see me!)

then we throw people in the air! i help throw the one in the back left corner! (you can't see me!)

then when we are jumping, you can't see me at first, but then the camera moves! i'm in the middle row, first one on the left (teal shorts! =P)

then we move a lot and i'm not sure where i am! haha oh wait! i run across the front! but you'll probably not know which one i am!

THEN WE DO THE PYRAMID! lol i go up in the air for this but not for a while! (the have their legs up, then they flip, and then they go down and up and flip again! and then they move and put their legs up and then do this star thing while flipping! haha THEN I GO UP! the best way for me to explain it is this:

and then after that you'll never find me again! (but i catch and hold up the person on the right at the end! the person thats like flying... oh and if anyone cares thats one of my best friends that i catch! lol)
