My Reviews & Blog
Happy Mother's Day weekend, KC fans! I sincerely hope and pray that Kelly enjoys the May 11th holiday with her loving mom Jeanne. The Jewish proverb states: "God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers." "Entertainment Weekly" magazine compares Kelly Clarkson to legendary actress Meryl Streep in the TV article "Idol Judged" (pg. 57). A huge compliment! It reads: "Conversely, more challenging, inventively themed hours might yield some surprises -- after all, Kelly Clarkson, the Meryl Streep of Idol, broke through on Big Band Night, and Fantasia..."
As a film fanatic, I want to recommend these "timeless" romantic dramas to the benevolent and beautiful Kelly Clarkson (all three love stories are now available on DVD):
1.) "The Love Letter" -- The 1998 Hallmark Hall of Fame made for television movie. (rated PG)
2.) "The Lake House" (rated PG)
3.) "Forever Young" (rated PG)
I noticed Kelly Clarkson's name on the promo for next week's episode of "Bones." Actress Emily Deschanel's character, Dr. Constance Brennan, doesn't know Kelly Clarkson or her songs. FBI agent Booth replies: "Since U Been Gone," "Because of You"? It didn't ring a bell. I laughed. Last night, I watched "American Idol" and all four performers. In my opinion: David Archuleta and Syesha Mercado stole the show! Jason Castro crashed and burned. He'll probably go home tonight. BTW: Congrats to Sen. Barack Obama! The presidential hopeful won the North Carolina primary!
My nineth dream is called "Convincing Kelly Clarkson." With a magical watch & 24-hour window, I travel back in time (Spring of 2002) and convince a skeptical KC to audition for "American Idol." Kelly's family & friends can't persuade the future A.I. winner. I'm her "only hope." I arrange a meet-cute with KC at Burleson's Baptist church. Disguising myself as her guardian angel, Kelly believes me and promises to attend the A.I. audition. She doesn't want to regret it. I kiss the beautiful brunette. Then, I vanish without a trace and return to 2008. Just in the nick of time!
Happy Cinco de Mayo, KC Fans! Kelly Clarkson is featured twice in the latest issue of "OK! Weekly" magazine (pgs. 14 & 43). Miss Clarkson admits to not using deodorant as a teenager and her nickname was "Smelly Kelly" (pg. 14). "OK! Weekly" magazine also reports Kelly's waistline as thirty-one inches (pg. 43). For the record: I love Kelly's angelic white dress (from the "Teen Choice Awards"). She's a very beautiful woman! Last Friday, I finally joined Kelly's official fan club on www.kellyclarkson.com. I couldn't resist the low sales price of $19.99. What a bargain!
Earlier this morning, I read on www.kckellyville.com's main page that www.kellyclarkson.com is offering a special fan club membership for $19.99. Only for the month of May! Unfortunately, I don't have any significant Kelly Clarkson news to report today. It's been a slow news week. Please forgive me, KC fans. BTW: Congratulations to singer Mariah Carey and actor Nick Cannon! According to "E! News," the couple secretly tied the knot in the Bahamas. This is Carey's second marriage. Luckily, Miss Clarkson is still a single woman (based on her interviews). I haven't missed my chance.
Star 101.3 F.M. disc jockey Don Bleu mentioned Kelly Clarkson's name during an on-air discussion related to the memorable "American Idol" winners. My favorite moment from Fox's "American Idol" results show: David Archuleta hugging his celebrity crush (British singer/songwriter Natasha Bedingfield). I'm still waiting to meet Kelly Clarkson (my celebrity crush). I hope Miss Clarkson likes me. It's so UNFAIR that Arizona resident Brooke White was voted off. Jason Castro gave the weakest A.I. performances on Tuesday. That's a fact. Ask the three judges.
Since Kelly Clarkson is taking a long summer hiatus, I promise to remain vigilant regarding the pop singer's public life and music career. For the record: I will submit my fan resignation (effective immediately) IF I see or read about changes in Kelly's love life and a confirmed new boyfriend. It's the right thing to do. I'll always love Miss Clarkson and I want her to be a happy and healthy woman. It's her choice though. After all, God created human beings with free will. Hopefully, the laws of fate won't break my chivalrous heart. Fact: Romantic love is a leap of faith.
Yesterday, "Because of You" by Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson aired on GAC. Earlier this morning, I read a Valentine's Day interview with Kelly Clarkson on www.kckellyville.com and the pop singer confessed that she's never been in love. Miss Clarkson also describes her type of guy: Funny and unshaved. One of Kelly's favorite romantic films is "Pride and Prejudice." Coincidentally, I just finished reading Jane Austen's classic novel last week. I loved it! My favorite scene in the novel and film adaptation: When Mr. Darcy declares his love to Elizabeth Bennet. She misjudges him.
My eighth dream is called "Kelly's Cold Feet." Kelly Clarkson returns the engagement ring and breaks up with me. The wedding is cancelled! During this emotional period, Kelly's music career suffers. She's unable to sing or write songs. Meanwhile, I'm heartbroken and press shy. Inevitably, Kelly realizes that she's lost the love of her life and tries to win me back. My parents assist Kelly's plan. I attend a Sunday afternoon Mass in San Francisco. Kelly (wearing her wedding dress) begs for my forgiveness. We kiss and make up. The Catholic priest marries us. Church bells ring!
