Last night was a night of nights! I got picked to be an audience member for this gig and brought along my female friend who is a kelly fan (not as much as I am..duh) as well.
Here's what I posted on the KCFC board:
It was awesome last night! Apparently, she thought she was able to do 11 songs but I guess for time constraints they only did the 5(?). Its too bad she wasn't able to come back out and sign stuff on the left side of the stage(where I was).
What I thought was funny was the crowd behind the band wasn't all amped up as the crowd infront.

Irvine, CA 2006
Its a trip to hear that kelly wrote a song that evening called 'Irvine'. I've seen the lyrics posted online but I haven't heard anything just yet. Here's what I posted on the Fan Club(FC) board awhile back.
Even the few days before the show, I was feeling like ..eh. Like something wasn't right. Maybe cause I missed out on getting to do the meet n greet, maybe cause I found out I could go after work to the show last minute. I don't remember exactly.
My December is solid!
There is a flow to MD that wasn't there for Thankful and Breakaway. A "story" from start to finish. For kelly to take the risk of sharing her life to the world on such a grandiose scale(the "scandals" behind MD) was brave. I hope that from here on out, she keeps sharing her songs with the fans. MD has been played and replayed on my itunes way more than anything else I have on there! To David, Jason, Jimmy, and Kelly..thank you for the tunes!
